We arrived at Heimie’s Haberdashery around 1:30 p.m. and I knew it was going to be a great day for Julie and Todd’s wedding. While the guys hung out at Heimie’s (suds, shaves and shoeshines), the ladies relaxed at the Saint Paul Hotel. From Heimie’s, we headed across the street to the Saint Paul to photograph wedding flowers and other details, as well as Julie’s final preparations. Then it was time for the first look, which we had set up to occur right outside the hotel. The bride and groom then climbed into the 1952 Bentley from Twin City Trolleys for a three-stop tour of Saint Paul. Our first stop was the Upper Landing overlooking the Mississippi, which is where Todd proposed. While enroute to Summit Hill Park, we were stopped by a very long train along Shepard Road. Julie and Todd took the opportunity to get out on the corner for some spur of the moment street shots. The Cathedral was our final photo safari stop, then it was on to Como Park for the sunset ceremony. The reception was at another St. Paul landmark, WA Frost, where Julie and Todd toasted with grape Crush (a favorite for both).
