To start with, the arching willow tree is more that 18 feet around at the base. It’s huge! Secondly, Mike built the buck board wagon, we used in the photo, from scratch.
After Mike took me on a tour of their property north of Stillwater, we decided to combine the buck board wagon and the willow tree for their family portrait. Mike grabbed his lawn tractor, hooked up to the buck board wagon, and we maneuvered the wagon into place, where it was framed by the giant willow tree. With all the elements in place, we then took the smaller family groups first, while waiting for the sun to set a bit further for the large family portrait.
It was gorgeous day in late September when we had this session. Now Mike and Harriette have a beautiful environmental wall portrait of their family.
